3rd National Conference of Sociology Students

The III National Conference of Sociology Students “Media and Health in Everyday and Liminal Experience” took place on the 21^st of October 2011. The conference was organized by the Department of Sociology of the Medical University of Łódź in cooperation with the Science Association of Sociology Students PANOPTICUM.

The aim of the conference was to give students an opportunity to present the effects of their research in order to discuss the conclusions that followed in a wider circle of sociologists. The entire debate focused on three major issues:

Everyday Life Strategies, Media between Politics and Public Service and New Types of Addictions in Today's World. An keynote lecture on sociological analyses dedicated to the knowledge society was delivered by professor Zdzisława Kawka.
