The fourteenth Annual Meeting the European Association of Echocardiography 8-10 December 2010 in Copenhagen focused on the latest advances in cardiac imaging.
During the meeting new board members and new committee members were elected. We are happy to announce that two professors form The Medical University of Lodz are among four Polish representatives in the Board of the Association, prof. Jarosław D. Kasprzak and assoc. prof. Piotr Lipiec, the head of the II Chair and Department of Cardiology . They were also among the eight Polish speakers invited to lecture at the Congress.
At the Congress 11 original projects from MUL (II Chair of Cardiology) were presented. One of them was authored by Ahmad Shim from the Division of Studies in English who carries out his research under the supervision of prof. Lipiec at the II Chair of Cardiology.
